Interesting, I'll certainly keep that in mind.

A trick for you people is maybe to use Silver Art Clay. It's a clay that you can mold into anything you want, and when they clay is dry you fire it on the stove for 5 min on a special tray that comes with it it turns into solid silver! www.artclayworld.com/ here is the link What I'd advice is to make a base in cork clay (leave the bottom open!), which fires away at heating and leaves a hallow pendant so it's not so heavy. I have one - though, it was purchased from Eyefeather (don't think she's making them anymore) and made from cold cast resin.
Truth be told, I'd rather mine to be *solid* silver and gold - BUT at half scale, not full scale (as that would look ridiculous on someone petite).
Ahhhh ... if only I had a kiln, if only I had precious metal clays, if only I had the materials to make my own mold ... ~sigh~ if only.
One of these years I'll get around to it.

I recently got mine from eyefeather.com, so I think she is making them. The small and medium sizes anyway. Omg yes, real gold and silver. @.@ That would be amazing.

I recently got mine from eyefeather.com, so I think she is making them. Oooh ... I didn't know she was making them again. I just checked her page a few days ago to order one for a friend, and they appeared to be sold out. Somehow, I got the impression that "once they're gone - they're gone". I stand corrected. The small and medium sizes anyway. The small ones are definitely WAY too small. She had sent me one with my order for the mid range one (the medium is the *perfect* size for shorties like me LOL!) Omg yes, real gold and silver. @.@ That would be amazing. Well, hopefully - after this upcoming festival that "Jareths Twin Sister" and I have booth space rented at - I'll be able to afford the kiln and materials in order to make the real gold and silver ones. When I do - I will make them available for sale. Medium and small size only - but, exact replicas. I know the process, I'll just need to do some research on what I can use (aside from rhodium plating (and nickel plating is a HUGE no-no!) to make them anti-tarnish.

Oh very cool. ^^ As for eyefeather, I simply emailed and asked her about it. So she made that and Jareth's Ballroom Mask for me.
