Has anyone noticed that there are some good missing scenes in the film?
For instance:
What happened to Ludo from when he fell in the Fiery forest to the time where he meets up with Sarah and Hoggle in the Bog?
What happens to Toby during the scenes when Jareth is "entertaining" Sarah?
Things of this sort...
Well, I think we should expand and bring these sort of things out. What do you think is taking place? What would you come up with?
Let's start some ideas!!!

I know that there were actual scenes that were cut from the movie and only Neil Gaiman has seen........and that drives me crazy!! lol I agree with you on those Toby scenes. Would he have really left that poor child under the supervision of Goblins??? Helen

I now have missing scenes. My male Lab, Bear, stole my volume 4 of RTL while I was in the shower. He took the bottom halves of half the pages of the book. I might be able to save most of them, but I'm a very sad puppy.

I'm sorry he had your manga for breakfast. :C

There's a cut scene that extends the ballroom sequence where Jareth actually kisses Sarah, which is why the song is so long, but it was dropped after being shown to a test audience because people thought it was in bad taste since she was underage. Wow...let's see, who can we blackmail ;D

Yeah, I'd heard about that one. If only they'd put it on as a DVD extra or easter egg Helen

I wish they would have at least put that deleted scene where Jareth kisses Sarah I think all of us would have loved to have seen that.

Probably whoever burned the tape is having the mother of all hissy fits now that there are so many fangirls who would pay top price for something like that!

Maybe we should get a campaign going and demand those missing scenes!! lol Helen I don't think it would hurt to ask the Hensen Company & Sony Pictures for a DVD with the deleted scenes in the extra features. All they can do is say either yes or no to us.

Yeah, it couldn't hurt. If we could get a lot of people to express enough interest. I know those scene haven't been destroyed as Neil Gaiman claimed to have watched them while he was making Mirrormask. Helen

I have to agree with you on this, there's just no way it would have been allowed with the age gap.
I remember reading somewhere it's also one of the reasons Jareth and Sarah don't get together in the manga even though she's older.
