Okay, I've checked over the entire archives of the board, and not a soul has mentioned it, so I'm bringing it up.
When Jareth materializes the crystal, during the confrontation, there's a moment before we cut away and cut back where the crystal is entirely animated/cgi. In the animated crystal is a special effect reflection of Jareth. What the reflection is doing does not match Jareth's actions. It looks like he's mouthing some words. I have my own ideas of what he's saying, but I wanna see if anyone else sees what I see.
Now it COULD just be a continuity/editing error, but I doubt it. Henson is pretty good with details, and it would be pretty easy to take the footage straight out of the scene going on and crystalify (is that even a word? I think I made up a word.) it. I mean, it's not even close. Even if they B-rolled it, they could have easily gotten a closer match than that. The fact that it doesn't match up AT ALL is what makes me think it's intentional.
So what is up with it....
(Yes, noticing things like this can be construed as evidence that I've seen this movie WAY too many times.)

I noticed that, too, but always thought it was just a continuity blip. Jareth's mouth in the reflection does continue to move after we see him stop speaking. I never really thought that it might actually be saying something, you've got me wondering now. This is why I love discussing the film with new people, there's always a new angle brought to it for me.
