I have converted a brand new generation of Labyrinth fans!! I work in a primary school and a couple of weeks ago I put Labyrinth on for the children in the class I work in (7 and 8 year olds). We managed to get through a good deal of it before home time and the children really seemed to be enjoying it. We had our half term break last week so I didn't really have any chance to know what they thought of it until school was back earlier this week. I didn't even need to ask, as all week I've had a few of them asking me when they could finish watching it! Well, we finally had some free time this afternoon so their wishes were granted!! They absolutely loved the movie and were really fascinated by the Escher room scene. There were quite a few "whoaaas" and one child who asked "Is he actually doing that?" as Jareth walked along the walls. I didn't answer, just smiled. lol Well, I didn't want to spoil the magic. So, I think I may have created some new Labyrinth fans. Huzzah!

The new museum at the Center for Puppetry Arts, here where I work, opens this weekend. We've got a whole Jim Henson wing, and one room dedicated to "Labyrinth" and "Dark Crystal." The kids faces when they see those puppets... It's a delight!
If anyone is ever in Atlanta, send me a message; you should come see this!

That's cute about the kids wanting to finish the movie and also neat about the museum exhibit.
