Hey guys,
I know some of you live in the US like me, and I just want to see how many people would be willing to meet-up somewhere (example: North Carolina)?
I'm not saying anything is set in stone, but I'm considering starting a small convention of sorts for Labyrinth fans, but I would need help with people helping out, spreading the word, etc.
What are your thoughts on the subject?

It would be neat to go, though I'm a ways from NC, too. If I knew of one well in advance, prehaps I'd figure out a way to get there.

How about starting a small meet-up within a convention? What I'm saying is...how about we start meeting together at a small convention in NC? We could have our own panel, hang out the entire convention time, as well as come up with small ways to plan more Labyrinth get togethers. If you guys are interested in this sort of thing, might I recommend the upcoming Jan. 2011 NC convention: www.ichibancon.com/This convention is mainly for anime fans...but I figure that: 1. Since Labyrinth is now in manga form, starting a panel at the convention there would be no problem. 2. I went to the "premiere" of the first of this convention and it's rather small but nice for fans to get together without the pressure of a HUGE convention. I would love some opinions about this!!!

Ah! Central Florida. We have a friend in Winter Haven that we visit during Thanksgiving week. However, as with Tink - hubby and I have tons going on right now so, not sure if we're going to make it this year. Possibility, not a probability.

omg, I saw this on the J/DB Harem and just had to share! This would be awesome if we could get together for something like this! "IBEX Puppetry, owned by Jim Henson's daughter Heather Henson, is the company that performs it. She's done it a few times in and around Central Florida and nearby areas. The website is currently under construction, but here is their Facebook page. www.facebook.com/IbexPuppetryShe has the film modified to fit into a 60 minute presentation timeslot, since it is usually performed at festivals. The dialogue is mostly intact with certain traveling scenes and fight scenes sped up. It's pretty amusing to watch Sarah quickstep through the labyrinth in the beginning and then squeak like a Chippette as she throws her tantrum at no twists and turns. The shadow Jareth was more comical than sexy and pulled his crystal balls out of his pants. The masquerade masks were stunning and when I talked to the woman that made them, were constructed with foamies. The puppets and masks for Ludo, Hoggle, Sir Didymus and the worm were just amazing. Wish I had photos to share of the event, but it looks like the photographer I attended it with took them down. -Laura P."
