Yikes, that was a lot of damage! They seemed to have done an okay job of restoration, though I don't think his face has the same amount of detailing, if the pictures are a good representation of the final result.
Definitely better than just letting the puppet rot away though.

I've seen that, too. It's sad that he ended up there. It's nice that they got someone to fix him up, although he's just not the same as he used to be. The restoration is still better than the rotting though.
