Darn, knew that was too good to be true. At least we know.

Darn, knew that was too good to be true. At least we know. Even though it looks like there was never a kiss scene filmed, you can at least find something of interest in both an early draft of the script- And in the novelization- It's interesting to read these excerpts, as they are - most likely - what inspired the 'First Kiss' rumour in the first place.

I've been craving to see that. I agree there should be a DVD of deleted scenes.

I understand the age difference but if she were 21 then there'd be no problem. Sometimes age sucks. I mean it's just acting.

"Just acting" is a lot of hard work, and when done properly can emotionally draining to emotionally wrenching. In a show I stage managed a few years ago, our lead, a lady in her late fifties and the youngest actor in the cast, aged 22 opened the show with a wild, roll-around-on-the-floor-half-dressed makeout session. It took them weeks to be ready to really block it and after an eight week run, they still felt very awkward about it. Even though they were both adults. I cannot imagine having to kiss someone so much older than me, on camera, in front of an entire crew. I've been working with actors for 30 years, and every show I do, I have more respect for the craft of acting. Although, with every show I do I tend to have less respect for actors... While not a deleted scene, I'd love to see bloopers with the puppets. You know Didymus fell off Ambrosious at the most horrible times, more than once.
