So, who's seen Mirror Mask? What did you think of it? I wasn't too fond of it, myself. Far too trippy for my liking!! lol Helen

Oh, I had seen Mirror Mask quite some time back Bez. To put it mildly ... that film *COMPLETELY* freaked me out. It may sound silly but that one gave me nightmares.
Check your PM box.

I tried to watch it but fell asleep. From what I remember, I don't remember much about it. I had high hopes for it though, then I didn't.

Seriously Tink? Really, I wasn't kidding around when I said that Mirror Mask *completely* freaked me out. Thanks to that film - I think I can imagine what a "bad trip" must be like (I haven't personally done that, nor will I ever).
Now, The Dark Crystal ... both hubby and I love it! If I remember correctly, the sequel - "The Power of the Dark Crystal" was originally supposed to be released back in 2009. Now, here we are - more than half way through 2011 and it's only in pre-production status. ~SIGH~ getting tired of waiting.

Mirrormask was a little scary the first time I saw it but I guess I liked it anyway. Super artsy. And I love how dreamlike it looks and how it twists your perception. “The working title for the film was ‘The Curse of the Goblin King.’ We then set out and made a movie without curses, goblins, or kings in it.” The music boxes are back with a vengeance! I just about cheered when Helena’s nails turned black XD And a collective cheer _did_ go up from the late-night audience when Valentine screams that he didn’t want to be a waiter!
