I was at a sci-fi and comic book convention today and met Danny. He was so down to earth. I asked him to sign a pic I had from Labyrinth, Sarah with the Fireys and he was really surprised when he saw it. I guess he's so used to signing Red Dwarf memorabilia. He said he had a great time working on Labyrinth, especially getting to work with David and Jim.....and also recording the soundtrack at Abbey Road. Speaking of Chilly Down, my friend brought the soundtrack for him to sign and he asked us if we knew what was wrong with it. He showed us that the credits for Chilly Down had David down as lead vocals and joked about David stealing his credit. So he corrected it by writing "lies!" next to David's name!!! lol Danny is such a lovely guy. I had my picture taken with him so as soon as I get it I'll post it. Helen

LOL, yea I always wondered why the had Bowie listed as the lead on that song, he didn't even sing on it! I guess someone just got happy with the Ctrl+V when doing the liner notes.
I'm so jealous you got to meet Danny, he seems like a really cool guy. Don't suppose he mentioned if they're going to do anymore Red Dwarf? I've heard some rumours of a new series since the Back to Earth specials did fairly well. I love Red Dwarf.

Yeah, he did mention in his Q&A session that a new series was currently in the process of being written but he wasn't sure how many episodes there would be in it. Helen

They did 6 for most of the series, I think 8 for the last couple maybe. So it's probably somewhere in that realm. It would be pretty funny to see Cat doing "Chilly Down" or maybe the Fierys backing up the Cat on a new rendition of "Tongue Tied" LOL Danny's definitely a talented guy.

Well Bobby Llewellyn (plays Kryten) confirmed on Twitter just recently that a series X has been commissioned by that Dave channel that they aired the specials on, so apparently they're going to do it now and should be filmed sometime next year. I'm pretty excited, more Red Dwarf! ;D
