Oh the worm forsure.... Small part one of the best lines in the whole movie. " No I said 'Allo but thats close enough."
buuuuuuuuttttt..... Jareth. I mean honestly I could give a long answer why, but.... i think we all know why. ;D

I think Sarah was great. She was very immature, used her imagination and played with her toys despite being a teenager. But she grew a lot during her journey too. She stopped expecting things to be fair and realized that love is not a simple fairy tale. It would have been so easy for her to fall in love with Jareth, and even though he was offering her her dreams- she realized that what she really wanted - and what she really needed were two completely different things.

Well, I picked Jareth I think Bowie was absolutely perfect for the role! And did I see that Michael Jackson was considered? *shudders* No, thanks! The whole sex-on-legs thing he had going on did him some favours, too

Well, I would be lying if I didn't say Jareth; but I have to admit that Sir Didymus comes in close second. I've always wanted a stuffed animal version of that knight! XD
But of course Jareth comes in first place! How can you deny the sexiness....arrogance............oh I just love that Goblin King!

Jareth, but Didymus is second. I think Mr. Goblin King is easily the most complex character of the lot and has the potential to really run the gamut from damn scary to fall-out-of-your-chair hilarious (as the fans have proved over and over). Truly sexy sadly didn't even come to mind until I started in with this fandom (see my post on David Bowie being an acquired taste elsewhere)

I would have to say Jareth- sexiness aside, I think he is a wonderful character and deserves to have more of a story.

Hahaha. I guess I'm going to be one of the only people who didn't answer "Jareth." I really like Hoggle's character. I think it would be really nice to have a friend like him. *And I remember as a child watching the "making of" on the end of the video cassette, and thinking that Brian Henson was really cute!* I also think there was a lot of interesting backstory that wasn't explored with him. It was neat how at the beginning of the movie, he's just spraying away at the fairies. As the movie progresses, it's obvious that he knows his way around the Labyrinth pretty well. I'm curious to see what a day in the life of Hoggle would be like. I think Sarah might be my second choice. I wanted to BE here when I was a kid. When I went to school on my first day of eighth grade year, I had a tied vest-blouse, jeans, penny loafers with tassels, a plastic rock bracelet, a ring, and an ovular hair clip. There's a red smudge on my old Labyrinth VHS from lipstick (that I would draw arrows on the floor with...much to my mother's delight...). The characters in this movie definitely struck a chord with me. I think I really love all of them in one way or another.

Jareth is the obvious favorite. Teenage crush. However I love Sir Didymus as well. My mom's dog's name is Diddy which is short for Sir Didymus. Though we should have named him Ambrosus because he's afraid of everything.

Oh, my fave is Jareth all the way, and chiefly because of Bowie (whom I once worked with, and he was a charmer), as you all have said. Which is why it's kind of funny to think that he's got what, twenty minutes of screen time in the whole movie, thirty at most? He certainly used them well...and most of that is song and dance time.

You've worked with David??? Are you able to share your story with us? You're so lucky. It really does feel like he's on screen for much longer. I would have liked to have seen a bit more interaction between him and Jennifer.
